I probably wouldn't.
You misunderstand me.
My point is that a rules system should be consiquent; either do it as the
way you describe above, or to allow for skill rolls for weapons AND social
rolls.
Because people can know as little of social stuff as they can know of
martial stuff, and rulessystems should not treat theese two areas different
= rules must be consiquent.
