I'd like to know more about the 'open' aspect of it...is it going to be open like the D20
SRD (open in spirit unless WotC doesn't like your content) or open like a hooker on
payday (everyone gets a dip as long as they pay a fee) or open under some other
conditions?

I would like to comment in order to answer your concerns, but courtesy,
professionalism, respect for Steve P, & integrity prevent me from doing so,
beyond saying it has definite differences (some I agree with, some I don't)
from previous versions, but that I hope you will be pleased with the end
product because it does represent the inputs of some good minds & lover's of
the game.
