I apologize, I should have written to you sooner.

I would love the book; and I don't mean to whine or sound like 
I'm making excuses, but things have just been really rough this 
year and I find myself in a financial bind right now. It's going 
to be another two weeks before I'll have the dough.

I appreciate your patience, and if you can wait that would be 
terrific; but if you have other ready paying customers please 
don't feel obliged to hold a copy for me.
