Which is exactly why people should be allowed to choose a professon if they want to.

Canon RQ3 is a bit old-fashioned in that respect.
I remember a friend rolling up trolls and every time he rolled a trollkin, he got it killed the same scenario, or made it a healer and annoyed everyone, until he could choose to play a dark troll. Why can't people choose the profession/background they want?
