Hmmm, well in the real world ... amongst societies with beliefs in magic
magic which heals has been amongst the most common... protection
from spirits and enhancing ones deficiencies probably on the list as well.=
Hell faith healing is still one of the most common ;-)
I would argue making healing magic common is more "realistic" hehehe.
