I can't speak for the final product, but I found parts of the combat 
system very lackluster when I was involved in the 
playtest.  Unfortunately, its been long enough now that the details 
have faded.  I have gotten the impression that RQ grognards tended to 
not find the final result all that edifying, but newbies or fans of 
non-RQ BRP weren't as put off (and of course, not all grognards were 
either).  Take that as you will.
