Actually, in fairness I must admit that the GM was being kind of a prick
that day; he was my roommate (in college) and his girlfriend had been giving
him hell. Plus I think he was hung over. He had a pretty bad drinking
problem at the time.
I remember at around that time he gave every other PC 200 experience points,
and then in the snottiest tones possible offered me seven experience points
"if you want them". It was that moment that I turned against XP systems
forever. :D
