No seriously, I know this is one of the things we all love to do with 
game systems: use them to categorise the world and/or our fantasy 
worlds..it's ship building in Traveller, character class writing in D&D, 
endless GURPS Magic debates about the interaction between real-world 
physics and sorcery..

In RQ, it's the size of Giant Centipedes relative to the SIZ table..
